JW Marriott Las Vegas Opens Two Revamped Event Spaces

JW Marriott Las Vegas Resort & Spa has announced the opening of two reimagined event spaces: the Palms Executive Conference Center and Cascade.

Located in the resort’s Palms Tower, the Palms Executive Conference Center has more than 15,000 square feet of flexible indoor, outdoor and pre-function space with plenty of natural light. The Parian Room accommodates 50-200 guests, while the conference center’s nine breakout rooms can house 10 to 100 guests. Audiovisual services include webcasting, mobile apps, high-speed Internet, ClickShare technology and digital lecterns. To celebrate its grand opening, the resort is rolling out several Palms Executive Conference Center grand opening offers, such as a free coffee break and a $500 referral bonus program, for meeting planners who book the new venue in 2018.

“We’re finding groups are looking for more creativity in their meetings – beautiful spaces, imaginative activities, and outdoor areas to get an inspirational breath of fresh air,” said Sam Messina, vice president of sales, in a written release. “These new spaces allow us to have a little more fun with our events, while also providing our clients all the nuts and bolts to make their events and meetings stand out.”

Neighboring event venue Cascade, located just off the casino floor, offers more than 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor space with an open floor plan. Following the recent opening, the room has played host to special events, business seminars and weddings, including wedding brunches.

The resort’s culinary team custom crafts meal breaks, using communal and family dining, restaurant style food selections. The pre-function space offers an expansive patio area surrounded by greenery and waterfalls. The new space is designed to be eco-friendly, with hydration stations to limit the use of plastic bottles, electronic signage, linen-less tables, recycled notepads and paperless communication options.

New AC Hotel Brings Three Event Spaces to Cincinnati

The AC Hotel Cincinnati at the Banks has officially opened with a ribbon-cutting celebration attended by Mayor John Cranley, Hamilton County Commissioners and area business leaders, bringing three new small meeting venues to downtown Cincinnati

The property’s three distinct meeting spaces include two intimate, audiovisual-equipped media salons for up to eight people, and an 888-square-foot meeting room.

Situated across from the Great American Ball Park, the design-led property resides in The Banks development – a mixed-use office, retail and residential development that serves as home to the Cincinnati Reds, the Cincinnati Bengals, GE's Global Operations Headquarters and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center.

Located at 135 Joe Nuxhall Way, the hotel was developed by Eagle Realty Group on behalf of its parent company, Western & Southern Financial Group, and its development and operating partner Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group, LLC of Cincinnati, Ohio.

The 171-room hotel will have many guestrooms and suites with balconies that overlook the Ohio River, Roebling Suspension Bridge and Smale Park. Guests can also take in the view from the rooftop bar, as well as enjoy complimentary Wi-Fi, and a fitness center.

The AC Lobby will incorporate the brand's signature open-concept spaces, which aim to invite travelers and locals to relax, conduct a business meeting or connect with friends over cocktails.

A twist on the traditional hotel bar, the AC lounge will serve up AC's signature Gintonic, beer from local breweries, specialty wines, craft cocktails and a selection of tapas-style small bites. The AC Upper Deck rooftop bar and event space overlooks downtown Cincinnati with views of the Ohio River and Smale Park. The AC kitchen will serve a European-inspired continental breakfast selection of flaky croissants, savory egg tarts and Nespresso coffee.
