Supplier News: New Group Packages in the Western U.S.

Two resorts offering group packages in the Western United States lead this week's supplier news for meeting and event planners.

Gateway Canyons Launches New All-Inclusive Group Package

Gateway Canyons Resort & Spa – a Noble House resort – has announced All-in At Gateway, a new all-inclusive group retreat program that will allow attendees to experience a customized four-day trip in Western Colorado.

After being transported to the property in the resort’s fleet of Mercedes-Benz Sprinter vans, guests will enjoy a welcome reception with hors d’oeuvres, live-action stations, and an open bar at the Gateway Canyons Auto Museum, which has a collection of more than 50 luxury cars. Day two of the retreat can include a guided nature hike and a make-your-own team building course that will test anyone’s aim with hatchet throwing, archery, and corn hole. Attendees can also enjoy class lawn games such as giant Jenga, yard pong, ladder toss, and bocce ball. The day will conclude with a customized four-course dinner in one of the resort’s spacious venues, including the Mission Bell Amphitheatre, Cottonwood Terrace, or the indoor ballroom at the Palisade Event Center.

Taking advantage of the property’s location among the stunning red rock canyons, day three of the retreat will start with a group yoga session at sunrise, followed by free time for the wide variety of activities such as helicopter tours, UTV rides, horseback riding at the Palisade Ranch, and jeep tours. Guests can then explore the Gateway Canyons Auto Museum further and enjoy the resort’s numerous amenities and excursions, including its three swimming pools, hiking, mountain biking, and full-service spa with rejuvenating treatments. As a finale for the retreat, the resort will host a Red Cliffs experience, which will take place in the property’s private canyon with stunning sunset views, dinner, musical entertainment, and more.

Daily rates for All-in At Gateway start at $759 per person and vary depending on the group’s customized itinerary. For more information and reservations, retreat planners can call the resort’s sales department at (970) 931-2458 or visit www.gatewaycanyons.com/adventure-meetings

Additionally, groups can embark on a five-hour trek with colleagues into the spiritual realm of northern New Mexico’s landscape, beginning with a traditional Native American smudging ceremony in the resort’s on-site teepee, followed by a trip across Ancestral Pueblo lands with a local guide, yoga in the pumice hoodoos around Abiquiu and a light hike to the lake for a picnic lunch.

For Automotive Aficionados: For planners seeking to host an automotive event, the resort’s indoor and outdoor venues, along with valet parking capabilities, allow guests the opportunity to bask in the scenery and stunning New Mexico drive routes. Additionally, car enthusiasts can rent one of the resort’s proprietary Mercedes-Benz vehicles to explore the open highways.
