Convention Space News: Lausanne’s New Nestlé Museum

This week in convention space news, The Lausanne Tourism & Convention Bureau has announced the official opening of the Nestlé Museum

Located in the Swiss town of Vevey in Lake Geneva, the opening marks the 150th anniversary of Nestlé. The museum houses a number of event spaces, which can host up to 500 delegates for small and large meetings, seminars and evening receptions. There is a private area for large events in the Piazza, three meeting rooms in the Villa, the Mezzanine for cocktail or evening receptions and private hire of Café Henri.

Olivier Mathieu, Congress and Meetings Manager at Lausanne Tourism & Convention Bureau, said that the new museum would be an excellent addition to the regions cultural attractions and meetings and events offering. 

Overall Lausanne has over 6,000 beds in 60 hotels, as well as over 20 museums, including The Olympic Museum. The city is near to Geneva’s airport and 40 minutes from the Alps
