Abu Dhabi to Host Neuro-Rehabilitation Congress; Seeks Papers from Attendees

The Abu Dhabi Neuro-Rehabilitation Conference (in affiliation with World Federation for Neuro-Rehabilitation Congress) will take place in Abu Dhabi from March 5-7.

The Conference will incorporate key elements of new and current practices of neurological rehabilitation, which focus on new clinical and research updates for restoring function to the damaged nervous system.

The conference will cover the latest reports relevant to functional recovery from neural injury and long-term neurological care. Topics such as management and fundamental mechanisms of functional recovery from conditions such as stroke, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer's disease, brain and spinal cord injuries, and peripheral nerve injuries will be discussed through various key talks in the conference. These lectures will be delivered by leading experts from the world of neuro-rehabilitation, who are setting the standard of care through evidence based practice and research. The topics have been carefully selected to reflect the current regional needs, and delegates will find that a fair proportion of acquired knowledge will be readily transferable to clinical practice.
Road traffic accidents leading to neurological injuries are becoming a serious public hazard in the GCC and are the leading cause of mortality and morbidity in the young.  In addition, consanguineous marriages in the region lead to many genetic disorders requiring neurological rehabilitation.

The Scientific Committee of  “Abu Dhabi Neuro Rehabilitation Conference” encourages all delegates to submit abstracts for sessions and presentations in the field of Neurorehabilitation. Original work related abstracts will be favored.
