UK: Profits Top £1.7 million at TRO Group
New client wins helped TRO Group's turnover to almost reach £32 million in 2013.
The experiential and marketing company, based in Isleworth, Middlesex, has opened a number of offices this year as it focuses on growth.
Accounts filed with Companies House for the year ended 31 December 2013 showed gross billings rose by 32 per cent from £24m in 2012 to £31.9m, and fee revenue was also up by 7.5 per cent to reach £10.5m.
Internal investment and a new management charge meant profit on ordinary activites before tax fell by 2.5 per cent to £2.07m - without those outgoings, TRO UK would have seen an increase of 16 per cent. The profit for the financial year was £1.7m.
The agency, which counts Tata Consultancy Services, Nike, BMW, Lucozade and Google among its clients, recruited an additional 19 members of staff during 2013, bringing the total number to 211.
And in response to client demand, having already launched new offices in Paris and Frankfurt this year, it opened a new office in Bangkok in July.
