UK: Keith Prowse Boss Says Hospitality Is Back on the Menu

The corporate hospitality industry saw business return to pre-recession levels during 2014, says the boss of Keith Prowse.

According to MD Neil MacLaurin, the sector recorded its strongest performance since 2008 this year, with the firm winning official supplier contracts for venues and events including the Aegon Championships and Chelsea Football Club during the last 12 months.

He said the corporate hospitality and tours provider, which is also official supplier to many venues, is looking forward to more wins in 2015 as the value of face-to-face meetings is further recognised.

"The hospitality market has seen a return to pre-austerity form. As marketers implement hospitality as part of their wider brand engagement and retention, the terminology 'face-to-face marketing' has become an acknowledged and essential part of the marketing strategy," said MacLaurin. 

“While Keith Prowse may boast a history that dates back over 200 years, 2014 has been a year of firsts for us with new contracts, new ways of working and the roll-out of innovations based around customer feedback.
