UK: EMA Discussion Focuses on Content and Interaction

corinthia hotel londonCorporate event planners stressed the need to understand their audience to be truly different at the latest Event Marketing Association (EMA) UK discussion, at the Corinthia Hotel London.

The event organisers in attendance, representing organisations including large banking institutions, law firms, insurance and children’s charities, debated the topic ‘Differentiating Your Brand’ in the most recent of a series of seminar and networking evenings laid on by the association. 

Split into four groups, attendees discussed aspects of differentiation: How do you stay ahead of the game?; Successful brand activities;  the creative process and making a difference within tight budgets.

Short presentations afterwards gave the following feedback:

•    Having clear objectives and understand your audience – perceptions of venues and service levels are very important.

•    Discretion is important – give the attendee a chance to experience something value added, give them a reason to attend, in the B2B world, learning and networking are paramount. Focus on the benefits to the attendees.
