Presentations and a panel discussion will allow attendees the opportunity to gain further insight into the long term economic, social, cultural and environmental impacts that hosting the Games can have on the city, and if and how the event industry can benefit.
The event will be held on Wednesday 19 November at the city of Music Studio at the Glasgow Concert Hall. Speakers will includeGlasgow City Marketing Bureau chief executive Scott Taylor, EventScotland’s events director Stuart Turner and Glasgow Life’s director of sport and special projects Ian Hooper.
SEFA vice chair Chris Lawson said: “With such a massive year in Scotland for events, we ask how can we maximise on the potential and how can we build on this for the future?
