UK: Corporate Events and World Procurement Congress Sign Two-Year Deal

andy ashleyCorporate Events has renewed its contract to deliver the World Procurement Congress for the next two years.

The Swindon-based agency has produced the congress, held at London Hilton Park Lane each May, since 2011, and won the repeat business after a highly competitive pitch process.

Attracting around 600 delegates from 24 countries, the two-day congress is the largest cross-industry procurement gathering, where business trends will be discussed and analysed, culminating with a gala dinner and awards ceremony.

Corporate Events commercial director Tim Christian said: “Having seen how the event has grown over the years, Corporate Events proposed an architecturally stunning stage set that reinforced the brand while introducing theatrics and innovative technical touches that will keep the event at the top of their industry sector. 

"This, combined with a robust pre-event planning process and some pretty impressive motion graphics from our in house team made the core of our proposal. After that, it came down to strong negotiation on both sides.”
