UK: Chambers Travel Group Adds Staff to Target Pharmaceutical Events
Chambers Travel Events is targeting the lucrative pharmaceutical market with four new appointments.
The agency, the events arm of Chambers Travel Group, has recruited Victoria Mitchell from MCI Group, Liam Lazenby from BCD Travel, Mark Forns from Reed & Mackay, and Noelle Allam from Chambers’ travel management team.
The new additions coincide with the launch of Chambers’ Platinum Service to meet demand for bespoke project management, which will be headed up by Lazenby, who spent three years at BCD Travel as a group travel consultant handling group and transient bookings for clients such as GlaxoSmithKline.
Mitchell brings extensive experience in the medical sector, especially healthcare and compliance regulations, to the role of project manager, and is currently leading the Chambers team on a major 650-delegate event for a pharmaceutical client which will take place in Edinburgh.
Forns has returned to Chambers after two years at Reed & McKay as a group travel consultant and will be mainly responsible for managing events for multi-national 3D design and software corporation Autodesk.
