UK: Activate Rebrands With Focus on Pharmaceutical Events
Pharma and healthcare specialist Activate Live Events is to rebrand as it plots a targeted approach to the sector.
MD Paul Bowie, who has 22 years’ industry experience with Eclipse Conference Management, and the now defunct W&O Events founded Activate Live Events in 2011, says he expects turnover to hit an estimated £3 million this year.
A new logo and website are at the heart of the rebrand, says Bowie, who added that the Sussex-based full service agency will move to ‘the next strategic phase in the development of the company, which will see more incisive targeting of key players in its core market and the dynamic development of a series of tactical partnerships’.
He said: “I don’t want to use the word small, but when you compare us to companies like Ashfield Meetings & Events, we are clearly not the same size. But we are in the same market and when we win business against some of the larger companies, it is because we are nimble and have an experienced team. My goal is to grow the company, and that is the competition.”
