Taking carbon-neutral sponsorship to event-goers

What’s green, is easy to carry around, can fulfil a variety of uses at an outdoor event and can also carry sponsorship? It’s OutABox’s range of award-winning carbon-neutral mobile advertising outdoor products.

In fact, the products won Gayle Blanchflower, chief executive of OutABox, an award in the Environment Category at the British Female Inventors & Innovators awards in London recently. The award, sponsored by London Remade, whose director of corporate relations Debbie Morris commented: “We were delighted to present the diamond award to Gayle from OutABox for her commitment to the environment. There was tough competition in the environment category, but we wanted to recognise OutABox for using recycled materials in their outdoor range, and for the company’s commitment to using carbon neutral manufacturing processes and minimising the impact of transport. With consumer interest in the environment at an all time high, designers need to maximise the opportunities and incorporate sustainable principles into their work.”

OutABox has also recently won two Gold Medals at the British Invention Show: Invention of the year 2006 for Leisure, and the David Nicholas Design Award 2006.

In practical terms, OutABox is also incredibly portable.  All products fold flat to fit into the seat, which itself becomes an easy-to-carry box that weighs less than 2 kilos, perfect for all outdoor events - in effect, mobile poster sites that last long after the event is over. All items in the range can be custom-printed for mass exposure and integration with the consumer at places where they are having fun in a cost-effective yet 100% environmentally-friendly manner.
