New look London venue re-opens

Just over a year after Church House Conference Centre closed its doors for major refurbishment, the Grade II listed building adjacent to Westminster Abbey will re-open on 5 March 2007.
The Assembly Hall, the largest room at Church House, has seen a major overhaul. The tiered seating has been removed and replaced with a level floor, making the hall much more versatile and able to cater for theatre-style conferences and meetings for up to 664, and gala dinners and banquets for up to 372.

The audio visual system in the Assembly Hall has also been completely updated with state-of-the-art technology, designed and produced by AVSY.DC, finalist in the Audio Installation of the Year category of the AV Awards 2006.
Other major changes include two new rooms and a modern Conference Office and Business Centre.
The re-opening brings a brand new team from Crown Venue Catering lead by head chef Norman Webb and catering manager Antonia Wilson. Both bring a wealth of experience from within the conference and events industry.
Commenting on the re-opening, Lacy-Curtis Ward, director and general manager at Church House, said: “This is an exciting time. We have made some important changes to our facilities that will ensure we can maintain the high standard of service expected by our clients now and in the future.”
