French lifestyle show comes to Olympia

London’s Olympia is set to do its bit for entente cordiale when it opens its doors to an expected 30,000 people for The France Show, the UK’s biggest celebration of French lifestyle and culture, which runs from January 18-20, 2008.

The event, organised by Archant Life, will be housed in the 13,000 square metre grand hall and will include five Experience Zones and showcase all aspects of French lifestyle, the language and culture, food and drink, travel and tourism and property. For the first time to a show of this stature, entry is free to those who pre-register or £8 on the day.

Miller Hogg, Archant regional managing director, said: “This will be the best-ever showcase of all the best that France has to offer. The France Show 2008 will provide visitors with practical advice about how to make their dreams of France a reality, whether it is living there, learning the language, enjoying the food or simply going on holiday. We are offering free entry to ensure those who love France can live the life and try new experiences.”

To help visitors immerse themselves in all things French they will pass through a special Olympia “Douane” customs point. As soon as they step into the grand hall they will be greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of France, including restaurants, French themed street performers and a France Wall of Fame.
