AEO launches event managers? forum

A conference designed to help event directors and managers “grow their events” has been launched by the Association of Event Organisers (AEO).

Exclusive to members of EIA affiliate organisations (AEO, AEC and AEV), the forum will be chaired by Andrew Evans, managing director of Fresh RM, and will look at the economic outlook through routes to expansion and event case studies.

Held at the Emirates Stadium, London, home of Arsenal Football Club, highlights of the day include:
– An overview of the international economic scene: What are the emerging markets and opportunities for the future?
– Cloning dos and don'ts
– Failure and turnaround case studies
– Strategies for attracting big brand sponsorship deals

Commenting on the event, Hilary Lawson, director of the AEO, said: “We are excited to be launching yet another peer-to-peer event for our members with outstanding support, fantastic registration figures and now just six weeks to go – we are encouraging members to book as soon as possible if they want to attend as places are limited.”
