The construction of Serbia’s first Radisson Blu Hotel is moving forward rapidly after a long delay, reports Novosti. Austrian real estate developer Soravia Group is undertaking the development. The hotel is area of the old mill building in Belgrade.  The luxury tower of 12 floors has been constructed and now the work on the interior of the building is being performed.

A four-star hotel, which will cost about 55 million euros, is being built on the site of a protected cultural monument. Thus, investors were not allowed to change their external form, but the conceptual design of building integrated into the existing structure of the old mill.

“If everything goes according to the deadlines, we’ll open the door of the hotel, in May the following year” says Ana Markovic, representative of the Soravia Group.
