Etihad builds on Dublin services

Flights to Dublin are to increase from six a week to a daily service from March 30, 2008.

Services to Ireland’s capital city launched in July 2007, initially with four flights a week increasing to six in December.

More than 44,000 passengers have flown on the Abu Dhabi-Dublin route since its launch with an average seat factor of more than 80 per cent seat.

Etihad operates a three class Airbus A330-200 configured to carry 200 passengers, with 10 in first class, 26 in business class and 164 in economy class.

Etihad’s additional flight from Abu Dhabi to Dublin will operate every Sunday.

It will follow the same schedule as flight EY041 which departs Abu Dhabi airport every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1.55pm and arrives in Dublin at 6.25pm.

The return flight, EY048, departs from Dublin every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 7.55pm and arrives in Abu Dhabi the following morning at 7.15am.

Every Monday, Wednesday and Friday flight EY045 departs from Abu Dhabi at 2.05am and arrives in Dublin at 6.35am.

The return flight, EY042, departs from Dublin every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.10am and arrives in Abu Dhabi at 8.30pm.
