Middle East: The Outlook Is Bright for Incentive Travel

Global incentive travel remained strong in 2015 – despite a year marked by turmoil in many areas. The positive trend is set to continue over the next 12 months, said Rajeev Kohli, 2016 President, Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE).

rajeev kohliAs we begin 2016, we stop and ponder on all that has happened in the year gone by and wonder what the year ahead holds for us. The travel industry has always been one that was easily affected by world events – from uncertain economies to natural calamities; from acts of war and terrorism to political instabilities, the world saw much happen over the past year, affecting the way people travelled. Despite that, the incentive travel sector has held strong. The SITE Foundation has recently released the 2015 SITE Index Benchmark Survey, an annual analysis and forecast for the incentive travel industry, and the results show some very interesting and encouraging indicators and trends.
