Blaze sees demand boom

Blaze Event Solutions says demand is booming for its event decoration products, despite the downturn in the market this year.

The Dubai-based company, formerly known as 3D Deco Middle East, which worked on projects such as Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce 40 year anniversary, Hed Kandi, Atelier, and the Jazz festival, recently expanded into Egypt with a new office in Cairo as well as entering into a joint-venture in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The company is also negotiating a joint venture in Australia.

“This year, the company generated a higher turnover than in 2007 and 2008,” said managing director of Blaze Event Solutions, Amro Al Qubaisi. “We envisage an events boom within the next two years so we are focusing on recruitment, structure and process standardisation, and business development.”

Blaze recently secured a contract for the F1, as well as the launch of major hotels on Yas Island. The company is also currently working on developing a new themed concept for Ramadan and a portable ‘networking lounge’. “Such concepts will be in-line with our new management strategy ‘managing for value’ to help us stay in contact with our clients,” added Al Qubaisi.
