Armani Hotel to target events sector

The Armani Hotel Dubai, currently under construction at Burj Dubai, is to offer a specialised events service for the meetings industry.

The hotel - a collaboration between Emaar Properties and Giorgio Armani - is personally designed by Giorgio Armani. It will be the first Armani Hotel to be launched worldwide when it opens later in the year.

The events service, known as Armani/Events, will offer 9,100 square metres of conference and banqueting facilities – including the Armani/Ballroom, and the Armani/Pavilion, plus a spacious outdoor area for up to 350 guests. The hotel will also have multi-function meeting rooms, dedicated boardrooms and flexible lounges.

The 160-room hotel is located from Concourse to Level 8, and on Levels 38 and 39 of the Burj Dubai. The hotel will have its own ‘Grand Entrance’ and will feature an Armani/Spa, and the region’s first Armani/Prive – an upmarket nightclub.

“Armani Hotel Dubai will be an icon for the global hospitality industry – both in terms of its inimitable location and the personal involvement in all aspects of design by Giorgio Armani himself,” said Mohammed Alabbar, chairman of Emaar Properties.
