HSMAI Announces Dates for Two Conferences




Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International has announced the 2015 dates for its Digital Marketing Strategy and Revenue Optimization conferences.

The 2015 Digital Marketing Strategy Conference will take place on February 24 at the Marriott Marquis in New York City, the day after the HSMAI Adrian Awards Gala at the same location. “It’s an event that brings together key decision makers, industry leaders and thought leaders. The sessions delve deep into topics of concern to those in hospitality marketing,” In a statement, Fran Brasseux, HSMAI executive vice president, said that the conference would bring together digital marketing specialists to talk about the ever-changing landscape of digital marketing and let attendees discuss concerns and trends.

“It is all things digital now. Having an inherent understanding of trends in the industry and being able to network with peers and thought leaders allows us to gain new insights to take back to our owners/investors and our property teams,” Maureen Callahan, Destinations Hotels & Resorts vice president of marketing, said of the conference.

The 12th annual HSMAI Revenue Optimization Conference, meanwhile, is planned for June 15 in Austin, TX. This event, the largest gathering of hotel revenue professionals brings together over 500 attendees, representing more than 100 hotel companies and individual hotel properties.

“Our goal each year with the Revenue Optimization Conference is to engage executives in discussions about the latest trends and best practices in the discipline and provide solutions and strategies for the future,” Robert A. Gilbert, president and CEO of HSMAI, said, adding that the event was geared toward senior or regional hospitality professionals with direct responsibility for revenue optimization and pricing, "or any management leader with an interest in staying ahead of the curve.”

The one-day program takes a close look at challenges revenue optimization professionals face, summarizes the implications, and, through discussion, helps them find solutions and strategies for moving forward. Industry thought leaders will lead discussion of current trends and best practices during the session. The conference is co-located with HITEC, the world’s largest hospitality technology show.
