More than 60 Ritz-Carlton properties across the globe are participating in the new program, which will be headed by a team of trusted advisors. As part of the program, meeting planners draw inspiration from unlikely sources to prepare unique and unexpected food and beverage experiences, wellness-inspired breaks and personalized itineraries that embrace the environment of the individual hotel in use.

The teams at The Ritz-Carlton use the new program to deliver engaging and unexpected events, with influences from popular culture, social media and fashion in attempts to set the bar high for success.

Curators of the program have drawn upon Pinterest ideas, citing its visual and creative focus as a valuable resource for trend spotting, which is just one component of what goes into planning A Meeting of the Senses event.

For companies looking to focus on fitness, The Ritz-Carlton Vienna offers a personal trainer during coffee breaks and a Sightseeing Run at the end of the day which tours the city’s Old Town. If a company is looking to increase innovation and productivity, The Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman serves miniature versions of “high octane fuel,” a creative presentation of chilled espresso shots. For a more family and comfort style environment, The Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain is predicting a shift to family-style meals and unique seating layouts, like doing away with banquet rounds of ten and replacing them with community tables and interactive set-ups. In Aruba, the Ritz has an increased focus on lighting and temperature of rooms to increase energy and comfort which has resulted in a positive feedback from both planners and attendees.

As business-leisure or “bleisure” travel continues to grow, The Ritz-Carlton properties have also taken to adding Ritz Kids activities in the evenings as well as planning day trips for accompanying families of business travelers.
