Dubai on Track to Meet 20 Million Visitors by 2020

Dubai is continuing to make good on its ambitious tourism push ahead of the World Expo in 2020, with another 15,000 hotel rooms in the three- and four-star market opening since this past summer. 

Dubai Business Events Director Steen Jakobsen spoke at PCMA Convening Leaders in Vancouver about what's next.

Events DC Expands Free Wi-Fi at Walter E. Washington Convention Center

Finally, this week planners looking to book Washington, D.C.'s Walter E. Washington Convention Center got wind of a welcome amenity: expanded free Wi-Fi. 

Events DC announced that, in partnership with Smart City, the venue will offer a complimentary network that enables attendees to complete routine tasks such as checking email and social media, as well as navigating online platforms and applications. Upgraded Wi-Fi options for more speed or bandwidth will also be available for purchase. The service expansion is expected to roll out this spring.
