This year the show attracted 280 international and local MICE exhibitors, over 500 attending buyers including 320 Chinese buyers and 400 hosted buyers representing 26 global markets.

SITE was among the organizations speaking at the 10 Association Day Forums and Campfire Knowledge sessions. SITE's presentation focused on "Introducing The Power of Incentive Travel," and showed attendees how they could employ incentive travel to advance their company's objectives. 14 local and international industry speakers hailing from organisations such as CWT Solutions Group Asia Pacific, EventBank, ICCA, China MICE Committee and Pantravel, participated in IT&CM China’s educational program.

Technology, MICE Outlook on the Agenda

Technology was top of mind at the event, with "Technology and the future of business travel" providing the theme for the conference's opening session. At CTW China Forum 2A: 2016, attendees got a glimpse of the Annual Corporate Travel Industry Outlook, which is co-published by Carlson Wagonlit Travel (CWT) and TTG Events

According to the opinions of some 113 Chinese corporate travel industry professionals surveyed in February and March 2016, Technology (comprising data security, big data and mobile technology) remained a top priority for the industry, followed by economic and political considerations (comprising global economy, corporate social responsibility and political context), and social factors (comprising Mllennials travel behavior, sharing economy and
social media).

The conference also covered topics ranging from travel management to airlines, data intelligence and compliance in China. The 33 moderators and speakers helming the sessions hail from organizations like ACTE, Apple Inc, Applied Materials INC, CWT, Ctrip, East Star Event Management, Eli Lilly, Harman International, HRS, Lenovo, Merak, Pan Pacific Hotels Group, Philips, Qatar Airways, Shanghai E-travel, Standard Chartered, TravelSky and Unilever Industries, among others.
