Sledge’s Irving talks experiential at RSVP 2009




The commercial director of live marketing agency Sledge, Ian Irving, will be delivering an experiential message to visitors at this year's RSVP show.
 
Irving will talk about experiential marketing and live engagement at the event, which is to be held at the Business Design Centre in Islington from 1-2 April.

RSVP is the UK’s largest trade show dedicated to the corporate party and special events industry. It will feature more than 200 exhibitors and around 5,000 visitors are expected over the two days.

Irving’s presentation will take place on Wednesday 1 April, addressing why experiential marketing it is such an effective marketing tool, the power of live engagement and more. Visitors will also be able to hear all about the Innocent Village Fete – the award-winning event created by Sledge for the natural drinks band.

Irving’s career in marketing spans more than 15 years. He joined Sledge in 1999, and last year made the top five of the UK event industry’s top 100 practitioners – the highest of all his peers in the experiential sector.

“We invited Ian to speak because Sledge create original experiences which really engage with an audience,” said RSVP show director Rachael Hocken. “Ian’s knowledge and experience will make a highly valuable contribution to the seminar programme.”
