2016 Incentive Travel Exchange Event Opens in Las Vegas

Questex Travel Group’s 11th annual Incentive Travel Exchange (ITE) event has kicked off at The Delano Las Vegas at Mandalay Bay.

ITE, held in partnership with SITE, the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence, brings fully hosted high-volume North American incentive buyers who have a combined purchasing power of $1.5 billion, together with global suppliers for two and a half days of exclusive networking opportunities and prescheduled one-to-one meetings in private, luxury suites. 

The 2016 ITE program launched with a complimentary education session, “SITE’s Business Case for Incentive Travel: The Link between Motivation and Incentives,” led by Phillip Eidsvold, a 15-year industry veteran who is account director at Aimia (formerly Carlson Marketing). Attendees learned to define the elements of motivation and behavioral change, identify opportunities for incentive travel to build employee/customer loyalty and engagement and apply qualification criteria for incentive travel programs to motivation drivers.

Keynote speaker Dan Clark, expert on leadership & peak performance and New York Times best-selling author of The Art of Significance, shared his uplifting story of how he fought his way back from a paralyzing injury that cut short his American football career, rousing the audience to a standing ovation. Emotions were high and attendees headed out that morning for their one-to-one meetings feeling inspired and ready to achieve greatness.

To close out the event on Friday, visitors will be treated to a special event.
