Sticky Wicket raises thousands for underprivileged children

This year’s UK meetings and event industry charity cricket tournament raised more than £21,000 for the Lords Taverners.

The fundraiser, entitled Sticky Wicket, saw ExCel London and Ocean Media Group battle it out in the final, with ExCel London coming out victorious to take The Sticky Wicket Trophy 2010.

The trophy was presented by former England and Middlesex Cricketer Angus Fraser to the winning skipper of ExCel London, Jeremy Rees.

All the money raised will go towards giving underpriviliged and disabled children a sporting chance in life.

The date has been set to do it all again next year on 27 July 2011 in Regents Park.
