Dubai, Hong Kong and IAPCO Sign Partnership Agreements

IAPCO has signed corporate partnership agreements with both the Dubai Convention and Events Bureau (DCEB), and Meetings & Exhibitions Hong Kong (MEHK) at this year’s IMEX.

Speaking at the show, IAPCO president Michel Neijmann said: “It is essential that we as PCOs are kept abreast of all developments, facilities and advantages that will assist us in making key recommendations for our clients.”

MEHK signed IAPCO’s first corporate partnership agreement last year. The latest three-year deal extends the agreement to May 2017. The official signing took place yesterday evening.

This morning, at the inaugural Dubai breakfast, IAPCO and Dubai Convention and Events Bureau signed their collaborative partnership agreement to promote Dubai.

DCEB director Steen Jakobsen said: “It is our intention to build on Dubai’s fast growing business events sector through strategic long-term partnerships with key global associations such as IAPCO.”

Kenneth Wong, general manager, MICE & Cruise Division at the Hong Kong Tourism Board, said: “Our continued partnership with IAPCO is more important than ever, as we anticipate the increase in MICE visitor arrivals from the long haul markets, due to anticipated growth of advanced European economies, and the growing interest in Asia.”
