The Meetings Mean Business Coalition has released two new videos in its Business Leaders Video Series. The series was created to demonstrate why in-person meetings matter across a variety of professions. Here’s what AdvoCare CEO Brian Connolly and Epicor CMO Celia Fleischaker have to say:

AIME Inks Communications Contract With Zadro

Sydney-based integrated communications agency Zadro has signed a contract to manage the public and media relations for the Asia-Pacific Incentives & Meetings Expo (AIME) for the second consecutive year. AIME 2017 will take place February 21 - 22 in Melbourne

Zadro is working with owners of the Expo, Melbourne Convention Bureau and event organizers Reed Travel Exhibitions to set the strategic PR direction for the 25th annual tradeshow in 2017. They will also be implementing a comprehensive PR campaign, exhibitor engagement strategy and providing onsite media management.

In addition to securing the PR account for AIME, Zadro has recently won work with Hannover Fairs Australia for GovInnovate and CeBIT 2017.

GBTA Announces Supplier Summit

In other event news, the Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) has released details on its fourth annual Supplier Summit, which will take place November 2 - 3, 2016, in Boston. The event will include education, insight into what buyers want and a tour of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center where GBTA’s 2017 Convention will take place in July.

The event will kick off with a networking reception at the Skywalk Observatory located atop the Prudential Center, sponsored by local destination management company, DPI Events. Thursday will be a full day of education in which Susan Ratliff, the Exhibit Expert, will offer suppliers tips on boosting lead generations through their booths. Jeanne Liu, GBTA Foundation vice president of research, will lead a buyer panel discussion providing firsthand tips on what buyers like and dislike about their supplier interactions before, during and after the Convention. Additionally, Ed Barrett, GBTA’s senior vice president of global membership and marketing, will give a presentation on marketing tactics.
