AirAsia slashes London-Kuala Lumpur business rate

As UK businesses attempt to cut travel budgets in the wake of the recession, AirAsia X has looked to attract business customers by announcing a £350 fare for its Premium seats from London to Kuala Lumpur.

The long-haul, low-cost extension of AirAsia makes it possible to reach South East Asian destinations in business-style comfort for a fraction of the price normally charged.

Kuala Lumpur is increasingly seen as Asia's main business hub, offering tax incentives to organisations looking to base themselves in the city. Over the years, the Malaysian Government has put in place a series of policies and incentives to make trade and investment easy and reliable for foreign investors, attracting global players like Motorola, Dell, Hewlett Packard, General Electric and Intel. In addition, most of Kuala Lumpur’s citizens use the English language when doing business.

The offer which runs this week, sees £350 Premium seats available on London Stansted-KL flights from this month right through to May 2010.

The AirAsia network also links low fare into key Asian business hubs of Singapore, Hong Kong and Bangkok.
