Hyatt Times Square Names Marisa Judge Associate Director of Events
Hyatt Times Square appointed Marisa Judge as the associate director of events. In her new role, Judge will provide oversight and strategic direction for planning, implementing and coordinating on-site management of all events, meetings and conferences as well as recruit, train and manage event staff. Judge also plans to build the hotel’s small weddings market.
Judge is an alumna of Temple University and brings a strong background in event selling, planning, and execution. She began her career with Hyatt in 2008 as a catering & convention services corporate management trainee at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore. From there she went on to hold the positions of catering sales manager and convention services manager. Judge then moved to the Park Hyatt Philadelphia (now Hyatt at The Bellevue) where she acted as catering and convention services administrative assistant and XIX catering sales manger. Most recently, she served as the catering sales manager for the Hyatt Regency Bethesda, where she built new client affiliations while expanding current client relationships, handled social and business group sales in excess of 1,000 attendees, and served as the Day of Wedding Event Coordinator.
Located in New York’s theatre district, the Hyatt Times Square is the tallest freestanding Hyatt Hotel in the United States. With 487 guestrooms, the hotel also has 8,000 square feet of meeting and event space, with the largest meeting room being 2,000 square feet. The Salon Ballroom accommodates up to 200 guests and can be split into three separate spaces depending on group needs. Hyatt Times Square also offers outdoor options, which include a 1,380-square-foot terrace on the second floor conference level and a 1,012-square-foot terrace on the 54th floor, adjacent to the rooftop bar.
