Global events agency snaps up Nike director

Jack Morton Worldwide has appointed a new senior vice president, managing director of its Los Angeles office. The newcomer, Daryl Butler, has jumped ship from sports giant Nike, where he was director of global consumer experience for the Jordan brand.

In his new role at the global brand experience agency, Butler will be dealing with a range of leading companies, including Intel and Hyundai.

In his 20-year career, Butler has worked client-side for some of the world’s leading marketers, gaining expertise in branding, consumer experience, retail, channel marketing, sales and finance. Prior to his role with the Jordan brand,

Daryl was marketing director at Nike from 2007-2009.

Butler was introduced to Jack Morton as a client at Nike, which engaged the agency to create an experience to mark the 25th anniversary of the Air Jordan. He is replacing Luis Montero as managing director in Los Angeles.
