Americas: Harnessing the Multitask Trend--FreemanXP’s New Second-Screen Solution

In a 2014 study by Salesforce, 65 percent of tablet owners reported using their devices while watching TV. It’s probably the same when they’re watching your speakers. But the second-screen trend doesn’t have to be a negative.  In fact, a new wave of meeting technologies is turning it to your advantage, and FreemanXP is teeing up a tool for 2015 that is squarely on trend.

In January, the brand experience agency (a division of Freeman) will launch FXP | touch, a speaker content system designed to draw in live audiences and give speakers and meeting organizers specific data on participants’ engagement with their sessions.

Here’s how it works: Speakers upload their slide decks to FXP | touch and invite attendees to log on. (The system is Web-based so nothing needs to be downloaded.) Once in, participants follow a speaker’s presentation on their tablets, laptops, or smartphones, and use the system to take notes and answer polling questions.
