Diane Devitt: We live in the experience economy. Traditional advertising and public relations do not exist; rather, they are now melded into the indisputably effective world of live engagement through meetings and events and integrated marketing communication. Because the concept of sensory marketing is about people, all people, it is prevalent in all business sectors. Creating the participant experience is a more vital responsibility than ever before.
